Is Someone’s Drinking Affecting Your Life?
Watching someone struggle with alcohol can leave you feeling worried, frustrated, and unsure of what to do next. You don’t have to face it alone.
Alcoholics Anonymous has helped millions of people recover from alcoholism through the shared experience of one alcoholic helping another. If someone you care about has a drinking problem, A.A. may be part of their path to recovery.
Learn more about how A.A. works and the resources available for those seeking help.

There is help….hope and healing for family members and friends of alcoholics…Al-Anon.
Those who live, or have lived, with the problem of alcoholism understand as perhaps few others can. They too, were lonely, confused and yes, frustrated by the choices of their Alcoholic loved ones. In Al-Anon they discover that no situation is really hopeless and that it is possible for them to find contentment, and even happiness, whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not.
We urge anyone who has an alcoholic in their lives to give the Al-Anon program a try. Like one alcoholic talking to another, a fellow Al-Anon can help when no one else can. They’ve been where you are.
The family situation is bound to improve as the alcoholic focuses on recovery and begins their 12 step journey. So too will life improve for our family members who seek outside help through the fellowship of Al-Anon and begin to practice the ideas and spiritual principles found within.
